The use of gamification promotes an easier understanding and learning process through layers of entertainment and fun that are being added. Housing+ mobile micro-learning gamified platform is not only intended to promote learning but also to provide a privileged tool for measuring the behaviours within the platform. In this way, HE educators and professionals will gain an extra data source to interact with, making them capable of correct or re-design specific content of the course. Educators will be able to monitor the students' behaviour and track and evaluate their progress within the gamified platform.
The academic community in Housing studies (students as well as lecturers).
This IO will consist of the elaboration of a mobile micro-learning gamified platform as an application to promote engagement from learners to Housing+ OERs. IO3 will contribute to explore how online gamified learning interventions can have a positive impact on learning outcomes and demonstrate how game design elements can be used as a tool to enhance student engagement, motivation, and participation in Housing studies.
In this way, IO3 will contribute taking up of digital technologies and of innovative and open pedagogies in education. Like all gamification projects, it will contribute to increasing the engagement of users to perform certain behaviours.
